When traveling to or from the US, you may cancel your booking within 24 hours of purchase at no cost and receive a full refund.
Refund conditions
Applies to unused tickets booked on SAS' website, in the SAS app or through SAS Customer Service and you're traveling to or from the US, your ticket is refundable within 24 hours of purchase, regardless of ticket type. This applies when the ticket is purchased more than 24 hours before departure. For example, if you booked your trip at 5:00 pm, it is refundable until 5:00 pm the next day, as long as the booking was made more than 24 hours before departure.
If you booked your trip to or from the US less than 24 hours before departure, the ticket is refundable up until 12 hours before departure. For example, if you booked a trip at 5:00 pm for a flight that leaves at 11:00 am the next day, the ticket is refundable until 11:00 pm.
If you change your ticket within 24 hours of purchase, different rules apply based on the ticket type
If you change your ticket and then cancel your trip within 24 hours of booking, you’ll be refunded the price of the ticket, but not the cost of changing the ticket

How to cancel
You can cancel your trip to or from the US by using the link in your confirmation email or under My bookings. If the price of trip has already been charged to your credit card, it will be credited to the card you used to pay for the trip.
It normally takes 3–5 banking days before the transaction is shown on your statement.
Cancellation insurance
If you bought cancellation insurance from Cover Genius when booking on our website, and then cancel your trip, SAS will automatically refund the insured amount within 7–10 days.

Your flight is canceled
If your SAS flight is canceled, we will do our best to take care of you and keep you informed.
Your flight is delayed
If your flight is delayed, we will inform you as soon as possible by text message and through our app, based on the contact information in your booking. If your flight is significantly delayed and you choose not to travel you may be entitled to compensation.
